Donegal Training Fund Draw Launch 2011-08-04 11:47:00

Donegal Senior Football team manager, Jim McGuinness and team captain Michael Murphy officially launched the Donegal GAA County Team Training Fund on Tuesday night.
All money raised in this draw will go towards the County Team Training Fund, and to help to prepare adequately for the All Ireland Semi Final on August 28th.
As our County Team progresses to the latter stages of the Championship, this in turn increases the financial demands on the Board, so therefore all proceeds from this draw will go directly towards the team training fund.
Team Captain Michael Murphy urged all Donegal GAA Supporters to row in behind his team. "It's great to be in an All Ireland Semi Final, and just 70 minutes away from an All Ireland Final. There is a great atmosphere in the county at the minute, and I would urge people to fully support this team training fund draw" He paid tribute to manager Jim McGuinness and to the County Board in their efforts in meeting the requirements of players. "We as players do appreciate that there is a huge cost involved in preparing county teams and we wish to acknowledge the efforts made by Jim McGuinness and the County Board in meeting our demands"
Team Manager Jim McGuinness thanked supporters for their support so far in the Championship. "The support in the Kildare match really lifted the players and it will do so again in the semi final. Every possible effort needs to be made that the team are adequately provided for heading to the semi final"
Tickets can be purchased through clubs throughout the county and will be on sale at Championship Quarter Finals this weekend. There is total prize fund of €8,000.00. Tickets are prices at €10.00 each or a book of three at €30.00
